Superb post by Nathan Bransford on how he picks books to represent. Read it, heed it and understand it. Apply it to any agent you can when you’re sending your book proposal. Agents are wonderful folks who love books and truly want to do the best for their clients so make sure you are sending them your best work.
Also don’t get disheartened, jaded or despondent – just keep working and refining your book and keep sending it out. If Ray Bradbury can do it, so can you.
