Jeff Bezos, the kindly CEO and caretaker of “all things Amazon” has opened the door for Amazon’s Kindle to be compatible with other e-readers.
Bezos, according to the NYTimes said Amazon plans to offer e-books for the price of $9.99 on other devices beyond the Kindle.
Bezos also noted in the future the Kindle would read other e-book formats as well.
