If you’re interested in books then these are both good links to read in terms of how the book and publishing world is changing. I really like Sara Nelson in terms of how positive she is and she was absolutely inspiring at last year’s Book Expo.
So read Sara’s blog first here and think positive!
And then you might want to read Claire Kirch’s article on independent bookselling.
My favorite store in Austin is BookPeople and I really try to maintain a balance of buying between it and Amazon, as it is so important to support the independent bookstores.
